#bkcb1 - runtime: 6h20.
Very disappointed in the motion that passed the board about the River Ring. The initial motion was no with conditions, which didn't pass (I voted in favor of this motion). The motion that passed was yes with conditions (I voted against).

It's like night and day for the Marsha P Johnson State Park design visioning, former w/o community input, latter w/ cmnty engagement. This was because local communities all demanded to have our voices heard in decisions impacted our community and our representation. #bkcb1

4h57 into the meeting and we couldn't technically finish because we lost quorum about 30m ago...meeting is continued to our next meeting in May where we will pick up in voting where we left off. #bkcb1

#bkcb1: the public has shown up and is deeply invested in having a proper tribute to Marsha P Johnson and more greenspace with REAL flowers (not plastic) in her namesake park in Williamsburg.
