After many attempts at #spinning thick & thin #yarn I finally got it thanks to classes w Jacey of @plymagazine.bsky.social & @charansachar.bsky.social at #blacksheepgathering They taught me coils, super coils, fishnets, beehives, & rosebuds. This is Falkland wool wrapped w cotton/flax thread.

In front of that is a copy of Stephanie Gaustad's last book; on that is a Jenkins 22g Weaverbird 6-arm Turkish spindle; and half of the "anger braid": 80/20 merino/silk from Wonderland Dyeworks (Flowering Vines colorway).
