Besides Diabolo Blenny, other common blennies of Gulf of Castellammare were Gurnard (Lipophrys trigloides) & Rusty (Parablennius sanguinolentus) blennies. Only saw Sphinx Blenny (Aidablennius sphynx) strangely pale, small ones on the marble stones of Paternella. #blennies 10/24

One of my 3 new species in NW Sicily was this fabulous Molly Miller (Scartella cristata) at Baia di San Cataldo (top) with its "hairy" neck.
Also saw several red Zvonimir’s Blennies (Parablennius zvonimiri).
