Okay, I did like a half hour on @stream.place -- I am def going to just build #blonk in LiveView and not TypeScript, but its fun that the TypeScript app being built out gave me the basis I needed to make it easy with my tools of choice. So thats nice.
This weekend I will do a 2hr one to launch.

Its called Blonk. Blonk is radar for _your_ web. Blonk has blips on the radar, that are either links or medium length text posts. Text posts are weighed less heavily to encourage people linking to their own blogs and stuff (ideally also hosted on atproto) and they have a Vibe Vibes are made by having a certain throughput of skeets with a #vibe-some_vibe hashtag and then if a throughput threshold or total count hits then it becomes formalized. Users follow vibes to see blips on the radar or whatever. Vibes are like, general and not topics. Much more sunglasses sunset walk and much less /r/treelaw — and its met to be people focused not content and growth focused. Anyone can host a Blonk on a raspberry pi. The other thing here is vibes have a pulse. If a vibes pull dies off, it'll stop floating to the frontpage top and be at the bottom of the iceberg. But sometimes we drill ice cores. Which is an attempt to bring a vibe into the discussion on Bluesky to solicit blips. For blips on the radar you groove with them, and it’s either looks_good or shit_rips, two kinds of vote up. People can decide what they mean, I dont know — thats an emergent property.
I got #blonk - my "reddit alternative" I am doing the whole #BuildInPublic thing with, started up & am keeping it on @tangled.sh for the process! I hope people follow along. This is my pitch
It will be online sometime within a week or so. Right now I'm running it at home and just simulating things
