Edie moved next to Milo. To her surprise, he slipped behind her, putting a dart into her hand. “Hold it like this,” he said quietly, his breath brushing her ear. Chills immediately traced her skin. Milo folded his hand over hers, wrapping their fingers around the dart. “You can move your arm like this,” he continued, unaware of the fact that Edie was, she was quite certain, having an entire heart attack. If she leaned back even the slightest bit, Milo would basically be holding her. Especially if he put his arm around her waist, and then maybe pulled her closer… Oh god. What on earth was she thinking?

I can't recommend this book enough! It was moody, it was mysterious, it was funny and full of heart, and that was just the first chapter. ❤️ Also, there is horror, but it's not too scary. I'm a horror wimp and I still loved this. 😁
