My #booksdna is
📚 about #librarians on a mission
📚 with amazing locations & history,
📚 a heroine taking on dark cartels,
📚 with animals as spirit guides or companions,
📰 current events,
❤️ 📚 with hockey players, curvy girls or older a heroine theme, and a hint of erotica 🔥
Wild, heh? 🤫

Four novels that make up my #booksdna -- the source of my foundational, load bearing personality traits.

Four books that make up my #booksdna -- the source of my foundational, load bearing personality traits. I am *really* showing my age here, but these children's books had some serious influence over who I turned out to be.

And four more for good measure. (I must be really nasty, huh?) Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury, Devil in a Blue Dress by Walter Mosely, I Will Fear No Evil by Robert Heinlein, and She by H. Rider Haggard. #booksdna #bookdna

Here are 4 more, since apparently I'm nasty (see original comment in the thread). Innocent Erendira and Other Stories by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Night Shift by Stephen King, The Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut Jr., and Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. #booksdna #bookdna

#booksDNA the whole Valdemar series by Mercedes Lackey (Queer stories with magic ponies!), Catcher In The Rye by J D Salinger (first book I DNF'd), Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut (everyone should read it), Lamb by Christopher Moore (hilarious and historically accurate as far as it can be)

#booksdna J.C. Edition!

Lots and lots of fantasy. And mystery. And mythology. And strong female leads. And angst…lots and lots of angst (w/ a dash of romance).

Here’s my #booksdna ! I still have this same Unicorn book, it’s probably from the 1970s. My parents held on to it and (allegedly) the Faeries book for me, but as far as we can tell the Faeries book has been lost. 💔 I’m hoping to get my hands on the same edition as a replacement copy someday. 🤞
