#boysstate I know nothing about state-camps (when I first saw the trailer I was terrified). A"Lord of the Flies" vibe; created a fine/nuanced portrayal of diff. personalities represented. All were earnest, some even likeable (SGarza). Even RMcDougall was endearing, in spite "good old boy" machismo.

Watching #boysstate - not in the slightest surprised the men chosen to participate are mostly white. Or white passing

I watched both #BoysState and #GirlsState today and my key takeaway is that the teenage boys are terrifying, and the young women will be our future saviors if we can manage to keep them safe and their rights intact long enough for them to do something about the state of the country.
