Another brick flat in Stokey! #brickflats

These are little pieces of art that someone installs in East London in places where bricks should be in buildings or on pavements, walls, etc. They are the exact shape of the brick, but are a clear perspex and the art is in the clear brick. This one is a man in what first appears to be a bathroom. He's massive in comparison to the room. I think this may be a comment on people's living situations in London because they can only afford the tiniest places. The man is a bright purple colour and is a basic human form with no detail, no face or hair or clothes. He is kneeling, but bent forward with his forehead nearly on the floor with his head on his outstretched arms. To his right, our left as we look at it, is a tiny model bathroom with a toilet and sink. Everything apart from him is white.

This is the view on the long side of the brick. We see the purple man in the middle and nearest us. To the left is the bathroom area and to the right, next to his feet is a chair and on thr back wall there's a little model fridge. So the whole flat is basically not much bigger than him and he can't stand up or even sit in the chair. I've seen others where the person's size is more suited to the brick...
