Receipt dated Tideswell June 22 1897. It says "The Jubilee Committee bought of T. G. Briggs, Wholesale and Retail Pork Butcher. 60lbs pork pie 8 2£.
Will you be eating pies during British Pie Week? Will any be as big as the 60lbs one ordered by the Hope Jubilee Committee in 1897? To be fair, the order was for 8 pork pies of 7.5lbs (3.4kg) each. Still pretty big pies!
