Take Chocolate grate & searce [sieve] it w[ith] the double quantity of serced [sieved] Sugar then take an equall quantity of oil of Almond & Gum Arabick steeped in water & make it up to a past, beat it a pretty while in a mortar fit it for moulds take it out & dry it on a sieve."
