And the there were six! After a few weeks with just this year’s brood of herons (who are now confidently flying), the two surviving offspring from 2024 seem to have returned to #BrookmillPark

Today’s visit to the Brookmill Park herons saw the two youngsters in and around the nest (one of them had been on the bank during the week). While both parents were fishing, they had a visit from a ‘relative’ - an egret (obviously called, Edith). #BrookmillPark #Herons
