I even managed to capture a rather unwary brown-eared bulbul right in front of me.
ヒヨドリは、離れたところから熱心に眺めるだけでも逃げやすいので警戒心が強いイメージだったのですが
よみせ通りで会ったヒヨちゃんは目の前でスマホ撮影しても逃げないどころか、花びらバッジをつけて撮りやすいところに来てくれました☺️

家の裏側、常緑樹の下にやけに鳥の羽が散っている。
その先に目をやると、灰色の鳥が冷たくなって横たわっていた。
ヒヨドリだ。
日の当たる南側の木瓜の下に埋めて、庭の植物とお線香で見送った。
下手人は、おそらくウチに居ついてる野良猫、毛玉ちゃん。
ごめんね、習性なんだ。赦しておくれ。
寒いから少しふっくらさせて作ったけど、抱いたらほっそりした鳥だった。
