Don't get too excited about yesterday's #Budget2018 income tax cuts. For most people, the impact will be very small. But for higher rate payers the jump to £50,000 is a bigger deal (even if already expected).
I don't usually tweet about this stuff. But as a very low-income family, knowing we have £30 extra a year doesn't give us a pint of milk a week. Just hope they don't screw up benefits we need because of my #Fibromyalgia.

Disabled people were nowhere in the #budget2018, but we are the ones who will be paying the highest costs. Forget tax breaks or allowances. Our lives are the real cost, the real balance sheet in this budget.
While I am entirely unsurprised, I am still horrified that the #Budget2018 cements the murderous #UniversalCredit rollout.
Disabled and poor people are already dying in our tens of thousands because of austerity, and this was the last opportunity to prevent more deaths.
