Pinkish elephant Indian god Ganesh created from colored chalk powder on a sidewalk. Behind the god is a bright blue background, with a frame of Indiaโs flag colors: orange, white, and green.
Kolam is a traditional art form in Southern India. It used to feature geometric patterns in white chalk to bring good luck to a home.
Now, colored chalk kolams feature gods, flowers, etc.
This was the winner in Puducherryโs contest, early 2024.
