Lyrae has long since forgotten her own age but she estimates it to be around 230 years old, she just doesn't care much for keeping track. Her life was a wild one despite having a loving family she was born with a lack of magic talent and so despite being the oldest she was not the one next in line to become the head of the family. That was her younger sister, she didn't mind though and used it to be a typical punk and go her own way, she got in with the wrong crowd and ended up running away. This is when she became an Assassin. Years later she returned with nine children that she had adopted and chose to take care of her family who had welcomed her back with open arms. Sadly it was not meant to last as one day she was blinded by the shadowfel giving her that iconic scar and when she returned she found her house burned down and her children missing. The pain was inmense but it soon got worse when she heard her sister got sick with a disease they could not cure and so she set out again to find a cure for her sister.
Description for visually impaired: Lyrae is wielding a large black axe with red and orange engravings that she rests on her shoulder. Her long lightish red hair is bundled up at the end with some brown leather straps and is somewhat unkempt at the top. She has large moose like antlers and a glowing yellow scar across her face that looks like thorns or lightning if that makes sense. Her eyes have maple leaf symbols as pupils but is otherwise orange of colour. She stands quite tall and is rather imposing, especially with her stomach scar and abs being visible. She wears an armoured skirt lined with green fur which is from her first kill of some sort of green wolf. She wears the rest of the pelt like a cloak on her shoulders that partly covers her breasts. She wears greaves that match her colour palette and gauntlets with small red wings that hide some very specific tattoos. Lastly there are a miriad of tribal and other pattern green coloured tattoos all across her arms and back serving as the proof of how many people she assassinated. Wearing only five earrings for she only failed five assassinations.
Here is my retired #dnd character Lyrae a Blind #Barbarian who used to be an assassin. For every succesful kill she got a tattoo and for every failed one an earing.
