The map shows two now-defunct airfields.

London Aerodrome (Hendon Aerodrome) became RAF Hendon before closing in the 1950s. The area became Grahame Park.

Stag Lane was a private aerodrome between 1915 and 1933, later sold for housing development.

Don't know any ghost stories relating to #St_James_School, Orange Hill Rd #BurntOak, but a popular rumour among kids was of a mad nun locked up in barred attic room of convent. Biology lab targetted by skeleton-robbers in mid-70s.

Happy 100th Birthday to Burnt Oak Underground station, open on this day in 1924.
