Speaking as an enduring a Damp Socks fan, I'd like to say that they're still awsome to my eyes and can't wait to got to an another concert where they're in. What's that? They're on a busy vacation already? Come on, you're just saying that to mess with me! But to be real, it's been long overdue that I even made a fanart about any Splatband at all. And out of all the personal favourites (Bottom Feeders, High Tide Era and C-Side are my go-tos) I could've gone with, it's Damp Socks. To be fair, it is the only band that is not only associated with the more beloved idol duo, but their songs (despit being only two) are pretty kickass. Also the character designs. My favourite is Vinny Mack, although Garris has proven to be rather more fun to draw. Too bad that there are no better official images that has these guys in different angles while doodling them (Vinny Mackerel especially with that long fin bang of his). The best I could rely on are the cover image and the concept art. Liberties, liberties... The skecthy pencil like style hasn't left away from me yet, at least when I make a batch of small doodles so you know how it goes. Really loving the stipple brush. Enjoy funny fishes.
