Added 3 new #pond residents in June. Captain Brass is likely a #ghostkoi while Lustre & Sterling are #butterflykoi. Acclimated over 3 hours to ease their transition & they've all done very well. Sterling is smaller than Lustre but telling them apart will be tough 😅.

Anyone else with #koi / #koipond take roll call every day? We have 8 koi, 8 #shubunkins, 7 #butterflykoi, & 2 koi that are supposed to be butterfly but I'm unconvinced & I've named them all. There are also 6 babies less than 2" long. Hoping everyone gets through winter torpor alright.
