Isn’t this exactly how open primaries destroy the relevance of parties to average voters? Maybe instead of 1 endorsement, the CDP should start to offer non-endorsements in primaries (if actual nazis run as Dems)? Or don’t endorse in primaries? #CADem2018
Regardless of who wins, what does it mean for the party that just 9% voted to endorse AV at #CADem2018? Who does this suggest is & isn’t included by the current structure? Is this good for anyone—but even more so, the party itself?
Though the outcome was all but certain (no endorsement), I’m really surprised by the order—& spread—of the #CADem2018 governor’s endorsement votes.
Dubious this’ll change much for JC & DE, in terms of funds or votes. Or GN for that matter. It’ll still be GN & AV in November.
