Candy Apple Cookie walks into the kitchen as she removes her hair curlers, to see Rarebit at the stove, cooking eggs in a pan. Her back is to us. “Oh! There you are!”
Candy Apple Cookie hugs Rarebit Cookie from behind, blushing with hearts in her speech bubble, which is interrupted by a single snore from Rarebit. “Awww, did you get up early to make me break-“ “Z”
It’s revealed that Rarebit is still fully asleep, and somehow cooking despite that. Candy Apple Cookie is understandably shocked. In the next drawing, she sits at a table with bacon and eggs, looking conflicted. An arrow indicates that the food is “perfectly cooked”. “ZZZZzzzzz…” …..Huuuuuh?!”
