Signs of Fascism - Evening Rush Hour Protest · Western Dane Democracy Project Signs of Fascism actions are popping up around the nation in response to the current administration's unlawful actions. Citizens are organizing to hold signs that simply and clearly state some known indicators of fascist state activities from the 1930s to the current moment. The purpose of these actions is simple - to alert our fellow citizens, residents, motorists and passers-by about the seriousness of the moment and to spur them to action. This spring we're launching a local version of Signs of Fascism on the west side of Madison.

We got a great response on the doors this evening when we were #canvassing for Catherine #Connolly.

Here we have a lovely wreath, the foundation of which is made of black twigs, densely packed. The lower half of the wreath is covered in dried brown moss. There are 2 little headstones, some slender black mushrooms, a few fern fronds and a skull. Simple but elegant. Oh, and there’s a sweet pinkish moth at the top of the wreath.

One of my favorite things about #canvassing at this time of year is seeing the various Halloween decorations people have put up in their yards and on their porches. I found this wreath to be understated yet still celebratory. And oh yes, if you live in #California, please vote #YesonProp50
