Mesmerizing interleaved bright terracotta sandstone walls slope in from the left and right, forming a heart shape in the center. A patch of light to the upper left shows striations left by flash floods and wind.
Most of the trip so far has been just sort of making my way to this place: Canyon X, in Navajo Nation, outside of Page, Arizona. I have never seen anything like it in my life.
