The image shows the a zoomed shot of the rear passenger side tail light. One can see the number "2002" in metal typeface over the light signaling at the model of this particular car. The classic BMW "02" (pronounced "oh two") had a production run from 1968 to 1975 and produced over 800,000 vehicles. This particular unit shows a weathered but intact body. The tires are full and registration is up to date. I imagine the owner continues to drive this car on a regular basis. This car, although small, would be a great road trip vehicle with its large canopy and massive windows go allow the cool air to enter the cabin.

A front quarter shot of the front end of the car. Standing to the left of the driver side headlight, one can see the intact headlights and the classic double kidney grill that has been synonymous with BMWs for several decades now. The hood is highly weathered showcasing heavy damage to the paint and exposing the metal below.

A rear shot of the car showing the full body and large cabin that made for the legendary look of the 02 standout among all the sport sedans of the 1960s and 70s. Here you can see the extent of the paint damage to the trunk of the car. The paint may be damaged but it gives the car a unique look and, IMHO, arguably better looking than if the paint was prestine.

This iconic #BMW #2002A looks to have lived a life of love and admiration. I wonder how many open road memories are under the hood.
