So, my check engine light came on yesterday. Solid, not blinking. According to my Ford app I need to get it looked at. Nothing else has changed. Sounds the same. Handles the same. I'm hoping it's something stupid like a sensor. Can you tell I'm not a car guy? Ugh.

3 hours, and lots more money after getting a new battery already, to get the parts and the alternator and belt fixed. π Iβll make it there but whew what a day already! I am grateful that I made it to the shop & have the $ today for all of this.

Delayed today for my event with an alternator & belt needing to be fixed. π I think when the deer slammed into my car in Feb it weakened it. The second guy to help had run to his car for his tire iron - but I did have the jack. The jack was weird, the handle was stuck on it, but it eventually came off and then it was easy to lift the car.
