So this started as a trace of a photo of Melissa. I was working on another image and ended up creating this side piece. My friend gave me themes and decided on things like "how should this be". This one was "alien cat disco' basically. The hair and mouth were the most fun! The UFO was almost a disco ball! I had a lot of fun playing around with Sketch (the app I use on my phone)! I know there's a lot more that could be done on it but I am proud of our silly work
I'm inspired by that one guy on tiktok that did the cats and him running from that water dino with fins lol It was chaotic and had that quality old flash videos used to have. Anyway, this is Tibby sticking his paw in my face so now he's a saxophone in space
The original for the alien cat. I was really taken by how Melissa seemed so unreal, the blur from taking quick pictures in the evening giving her an already unnatural look.
