Unfortunately the US health care system is not so straightforward. The system feels more like a board game, or several board games, each designed by a different company, mashed together into a confusing, complicated mess. There are different sets of rules depending on who is playing. Outcomes are often determined by the color of your skin, your ZIP code, and how much money you have at the beginning of the game.
