A case math cocoon in a stick like case moved into my sight as I sit on front porch

Case mothe cocoon , in this and next photos) appears on the couch beside me after being carefully placed in a safe position days ago.

6 days ago this (I think) #Casemoth cocoon appeared on my front porch. I moved it to a safe place 2 meters away. 3 days ago it appeared again. Moved it to safety again. It just reappeared on the couch beside me 😳 I think I’ve been adopted. Any ideas for care (of cocoon, not me)? #InsectsofBluesky

Saunders case moth. The female makes a cocoon made of silk, leaves, and twigs. She never leaves her cocoon and can live in it for up to 2 years. When she moves only her front half comes out of the cocoon and she drags it along behind her.
