Materials with only brief bib records are now called "problem children." This afternoon, it took me 2.5 hours to square one problem child away. Cataloging in a new system is a lesson in patience - nevermind that I had to create a call number and assign subject headings.

Case in point: I am a hobbit #cataloger who thrives in finding retellings, adaptations, and works inspired by Austen, the Brontes, Gaskell, Dickens, etc so I can giddily find an excuse to create the uniform title and series authority records for said works. (or something like this) #hobbitcataloger
