A sketch of Kris's classmates from the game, Deltarune. My initial thought when sketching this was, what if Kris's classmates are more like the animals/ creatures they're based on? That's how this was born, lol. My curiosity is now satisfied after that. Now, I know Berdly is the smallest real life inspired animal between the classmates lmao. I had difficulty in determining the sizes of hybrid inspired characters like Susie, so for the hybrids, there's not much difference between this theoretical sketch and their canon sizes (my interpretation). About the hearts notes, there's a theory I've read that Kris's classmates are the reincarnation of the 7 colored hearts in Undertale. I kinda think that maybe Toby implemented the heart soul virtues into the classmates because of story reasons, but the classmates being reincarnations of those hearts is still a pretty sick theory.... and also quite sad. Other than that, I noticed that there's a lot of details on the characters that I missed when drawing them. I guess that's why finishing your artwork is important, lol, to notice these kinds of stuff. I'll probably include those in another artwork. So, yeah. I don't mind if you want to ask or talk about anything from this post, by the way. I'm in the middle of colouring this right now. It'll take a while because I'm in uni right now. I'm gonna post these on my other socials once I can. Noelle is at a library computer, telling her friends "Okay, so our challenge is to "draw a fruit you like, but as a human!" I'm thinking I'll draw them based on an apple, any suggestions for the design?"

Susie slams her hands onto the table, leaning over Kris, and exclaims "They gotta be short and round-faced, since apples are small and round!" Kris doesn't say anything.

Berdly leans in and adds "Perhaps you could take a more unique approach with the outfit, and design it off of green and yellow apples?"

Catti looks up from her phone and says "But omitting the red, it would feel wrong. Incorporating it somewhere, perhaps in piercing eyes?" Jockington adds "And you should make their hair, stick up! Shape it like a stem and a, leaf."
