Right after Mark x? left Ohio State Computer Graphics Research Group for a startup (Sun), I found a tube of 68000s in the hardware lab, designed to be added to the frame buffer planes of our 'big buffer'.

I left for Pixar, where we already had CPUs on the frame buffer planes (the CHAP!) #cghistory

On February 7th, 1995 (30 years ago today), Alias Research and Wavefront Technologies announced to merge together as Alias|Wavefront.

This merger led to the inception of 3d software package Maya, combined with tech from previous Alias & Wavefront software

Just started running this laserdisc rip, and I figured it'd just be another compilation of the same stuff I've seen everywhere, but this has a whole interview segment with Jim Blinn. Hell yeah.
