The #honeybee diseases of #AFB, #EFB, #chalkbrood & #stonebrood are spread across northern Europe, but have very different geographical spreads & no obvious correlations. The 4 pathogens don't spread long-distance but are present in the whole geographical region.

Chalkbrood - Vita Bee Health Chalkbrood, a disease that can kill honeybee larvae, is caused by a fungus, Ascophaera apis. It occurs worldwide, but is most serious in some warmer climates.
