Bad EX-s? Yeah I’ve got a few. I’ll start with Calumm. We “dated” for about 4 months when we were teenagers. I was about 15, 16 at the time. He was a pretty good guy if I’m honest; definitely not a bad dude.Problem is, well he had a saviour complex. The whole time we were dating, he told me all about how the things I liked, music, books, magazines, everything, was bad and sinful and would get me sent to hell. There was only so much of that I could take; being told the stuff that made growing up a little less shitty was super bad for you. And always being reminded that the person who is meant to love you, or at least like you thinks you’re broken and needs fixing. I dumped him, but he just wouldn’t leave me alone about it. I blocked him everywhere I could but one day she showed up at my house! Lucky me, Dad was home at the time and told Calumm to leave, not come back, and not try to ask me out again.
Paul. Decent enough guy in the first couple of months but he just started giving me shit for the job and the hours I worked. Kept complaining I ‘couldn’t be there for him’ and that he ‘couldn't rely on me to support him’. It all fell apart when we had this argument about it and he just sort, said it out loud; Paul wanted me to just be his maid, his cheer squad and tall, busty flesh-light. Okay, maybe I’m being bitchy but, dude, you think I don’t want support and a bit of love and care too? He never bothered to do things for me and my long hours. Long awkward hours. Just a hustle bro looking for a support team he could bone
Joey. Good lord above what can’t you say about him? Arrogant, rude, selfish, ego maniac, fucker of anything that moved who got insanely jealous when I so much as said ‘hi’ to other guys, when it’s part of my job. You’re probably wondering why I was with him at all and, yeah, I wanna know that too. Shit, wasn’t even like he had me seeing angels in bed. Not bad, just mediocre. I dunno man. Maybe everyone just needs to have a bad, irredeemable ex, and even you don’t know why you dated.
Larry Okay, I don’t know if Larry is his name, it’s just the one he gave me. So, a couple of years ago, Larry was doing roadie work for some bands at the Steel Shack, and we got to talking a little bit. You know, it happens all the time. He was rough around the edges but, nothing but respectful. Sure he flirted with me a bunch and made a couple of bad jokes but never did anything that made my skin crawl. At least in a bad way. Anyway, I decided, what the hell, haven’t been laid in a hot minute, he seems like a decent guy, I’ll ask him out. We had a brief fling together and, yeah it was fun. Not the best time I’ve had with someone under the sheets but I don’t have any complaints. We went our separate ways after that. Kept in touch a little but, you know, things fade. It happens. And then, like a year later, I find out through a friend of mind, Larry was a fucking Mongol. Fully patched up member and everything. No, he didn’t wear his colours when I knew him. I even got a call from some agent, no idea what they thought I could do for them; Larry didn’t tell me any of this crap! Heh, so I told the agent, unless you want to know how well this guy gives head, I can’t help you. He hung up after that.
Just in time for a #mondayloredump before bed.
