CharacterCreationChallenger day 31 Zim is an oddity in the Underdark. He lacked the inherent cruelty of other Kobolds and even as a child seemed to have a special bond with animals, especially spiders and scorpions. An outcast among his own tribe, Zim struck out on his own, and by chance encountered Doggo. Via his animal telepathy he befriended Doggo, and they have patrolled the darkness, ever since, even occasionally sneaking to the surface at night, to aid travelers, spoil raids from other Kobolds, Drow, Duergar, etc. During the day, if he must travel the surface, he wears a deep hood, and made a pair of Inuit style snow goggles out of the husks of a walnut. Mostly he is content to keep to himself, hunt, fish, and cause trouble for evil creatures. Not sure I got all the rules rights, the specifics for Demi Rangers are less than ironclad in wording, and of course, technically was not connected to the Complete Book of Humanoids. C'est la vie. I wanted to end the CCC with a Kobold that rides a big spider.

#CharacterCreationChallenge Day 29Captain PandamoniumTMNT & Other Strangeness (1e) Basic Palladium Dice Method.Mutant Polar Bear Vigilante Don't have the Redux Book, but those were the only CS I could find on short notice. Seems like some minor tweaks, hopefully I can get the new version soon, but this is based off the late 80s game. Captain Pandamonium is the Super Hero Alter Ego adopted by Nanook the Polar Bear, from the Bronx Zoo. Because a Polar Bear fighting crime would be.. conspicuous, he uses black face paint to disguise himself as a Panda. Since the Bronx Zoo does not have any Giant Pandas, it takes some heat off of Nanook (or Nano as he prefers).His Mentor is a mutant Koala named Einstein because of his massive (30) IQ. While Physically limited, Einstein is a master of computer systems, electronics, mechanics, etc, and a World Class Chess player. He is also highly Myopic and wears prescription goggles when he is in the field supporting Nanook The "Pandemonium Mobile" is a nondescript 1993 Previa Minivan, with Limo Tinted Windows. It is equipped with a Police Band Radio, illegal jamming equipment, and a few countermeasures, from smoke screens to oil slicks, caltrops, and the body of the vehicle itself can be electrified to prevent attempts to enter. Nanook has only been active for 6 months so far, and believes in non lethal fighting, but his immense strength means that even when he pulls punches, he sometimes breaks more bones than intended. He always leaves any criminals he accosts thoroughly duct taped and at the nearest Police Precent. He has developed a fondness for Beer (porters and stouts in particular) and his favorite food are Coney Island Hotdogs.
