Second panel: Bonegrease has turned on Miriam and she looks small and afraid as he points at himself and advances on her. Third panel: Bonegrease looks ashamed, his back to Miriam once again. Miriam has her back to Bonegrease and holds herself, tears in her eyes, as she seems to stare at nothing.
Bonegrease stands over Miriam as he pets her hair and turns off her alarm clock. His expression is soft and sympathetic as he seems to be as uninvasive as possible. Miriam is curled in bed, her brow furrowed as her sleep is disturbed and she threatens to wake up. She’s holding a pillow tight as she sleeps.
Bonegrease is giving Miriam a piggy back ride as he seems upbeat and chatty, smiling ear to ear as he carries her without any issue. He supports her weight by carrying her under her knees. Miriam looks annoyed, and maybe a little flustered as she’s carried like a child. She wraps her arms around his neck in a loose and easy grip. Even if she’s annoyed an embarrassed, she doesn’t seem to fear being dropped.
Bonegrease and Miriam have a very… interesting relationship. They both have problems and reservations about the other and both are valid for them… but they still have moments of affection. Maybe one of them more than the other. #art #myart #bonegrease #characterdesgn
