Interview: Charlotte Printz | Crime Fiction Lover We introduce readers to Charlotte Printz, the German cosy crime fiction author whose novel Nightingale & Co is set in Berlin in the year 1961

'It might be hard to believe, but actually 30% of private detectives in 1960s Germany were women, partly because it was far easier for women to infiltrate private households or businesses without being too conspicuous' #CharlottePrintz #NightingaleandCo crimefictionlover.com/2025/01/inte...

Rewind Recap: Weekly Update W/E 12/01/25 And another week passes us by. This week has been a strange one. Sitting here in the UK, buried under blankets to stay warm without wasting copious amounts of energy, whilst watching the news in a mixture of shock and sadness seeing the devastation that is hitting other communities around the world, be it those caught up in conflicts not of their making, or the residents of LA who have, in many cases, lost everything.

Rewind Recap: Weekly Update W/E This will be a very quick post as I don't have a lot to share. A very turbulent week but I want to put it behind me and look forwards, at least on a personal level, and leave the backward reflections for the books and books alone. I had my work Christmas meal on Friday which was nice, and did not a lot else all week, so I an recycling an old picture from happier times, with the hope that the next few days of relaxation I have planned will produce some more inspiring pictures next weekend.
