In #chiokiverse there are meds specifically designed for Miqo'te to deal with their biological "side effects" in case they decide to switch between the day/night cycle. Some just go "fuck it, we ball" and fully accept having to deal with sudden zoomies attacks or randomly falling asleep.

Faar gushing about her marriage in front of Chuluun and Sarnai - two of Magnai's sisters. They're sightseeing at Camp Bronze Lake and standing on a wooden bridge.

Faar keeps gushing about her husband to Sarnai, unaware of her old friend watching the three. Chuluun keeps an eye on the strangers, but is growing frustrated with him.

The smug stranger turns out to be Riol, watching the visitors with mild interest. He's familiar with Faar, but he's never seen any Xaela in these parts besides the Warrior of Light and his brother.

Sarnai looks at Faar with adoration, enjoying how the cute Miqo'te is talking about her darling husband. Chuluun, on the other hand, assumes the rogue is ogling his sister or the sweet Faar and is this close to throwing hands with him. She doesn't even assume Riol could be staring at her specifically, because why would he?

"Do you know him? He's been drilling holes in your back for the last 10 minutes and it's starting to anger me."

#Virimu is the middle child. Tho not a firstborn, he was the eldest son and his traditional parents expected a lot from him ever since he was born. Instead, both him and his older sister decided to live how they like.
He genuinely has a good relationship with both of his siblings.

Haurchefant's death is still a part of the #chiokiverse canon and a big turning point for #Faar and her development. It throws her cheerful and positive little world upside down and makes her harden more. It takes time for her to grieve enough to open up for new romantic opportunities.

#Chi'yo definitely has the strongest friendship bond with Thancred. These two hated each other's guts just a few years ago, when Chi'yo used to break law in Ul'dah and Thancred kept chasing him to disrupt his work. In a way they were like Tom and Jerry.

I play all of them rather regularly and all of them are in DT msq, with Chi'yo being in endgame as my main ofc.

in my canon Miqos tend to suffer from them when they're particularly overstimulated (especially late at night) and either suppress it with herbs/medicine or just try to deal with it.

and Deu definitely stomps his foot when he's frustrated.

there's a lot of things that i had to really bend backwards to logically explain - like how did Deu end up going from the Skatay Range to Ishgard or how was Faar born in Kugane but ended up adopted by a Lominsan pirate captain.

but i love those pieces of #chiokiverse lore too much to change them.

In #chiokiverse canon being queer is perfectly normal and not treated differently. Only in small communities set on procreation it may raise some eyebrows, but in a world where MCH can pull out any firearm out of their ass, even need for a biological child can be achieved in unconventional way. >

I've mentioned it before, but #Chi'yo absolutely took part in every Hildibrand questline and they're all canon to #chiokiverse.
The thing is, they're all so absurd and hard to explain, no one would believe him if he tried to bring it up. It sounds like a fever dream.

no, but seriously. #Virimu is pretty much the only one whose parents are still alive/he's in contact with and he just refers to them as "ma" and "pops". they would prefer him to be a little more respectful, but there's not much they can do at this point.

"canon" ages are a suggestion for me.

if i need it for my lore, i make some characters older than what the devs claim - for example Magnai is in his 30s, Krile is at least in late 20s and the Arcadion fighters range from early 20s to early 40s.
