１）昔むかしある食堂に亀の箸置きがいました。「カメは縁起がいい」ということで、人気のはしおきでした。 ２）ところがだんだん「縁起」よりも「カワイイ」が人気の時代が来て、カメは居場所がなくなってしまいました。 ３）やがてホコリをかぶってしまったカメは悲しくなって、夜中にこっそりと食堂を抜け出しました。 ４）はじめて見る広い世界に、カメはワクワクしました。そして・・・ ….. 1) Once upon a time, there was a restaurant that had a turtle-shaped chopstick rest. It was a popular chopstick rest among costomers because turtles were believed to bring good luck. 2) However, as time passed and cuteness became more popular than good luck, the turtle no longer had a place to stay. 3) Eventually, the turtle became covered in dust and became sad, so she sneaked out of the restaurant in the middle of the night. 4) The turtle was excited to see the big world for the first time. And then…
５）「はしおきだけが人生じゃない！」と気がついたのです。 ６）それからカメは職業訓練に通い、バクさんの夢銀行からお金を借りて・・・ ７）ついに箸置きによる箸置きのためのバー『タートルランド』をオープンしました。 ８）タートルランドは、仕事を終えた箸置き達で毎日賑わい、それからカメがヒマを持て余すことは二度となくなりました。 めでたし、めでたし。 ….. 5) She realized that there's more to life than just chopstick rests! 6) The turtle then went to vocational training and borrowed money from Baku's Dream Bank… 7) She finally opened Turtle Land, a bar run by chopstick rests, for chopstick rests. 8) Turtle Land was bustling every day with chopstick rests after work, and the turtle never had to do anything with herfree time again. And they lived happily ever after.
