Sludge is collected an refined before going through a zero pollution waste-to-value company, who transforms it into manure fertiliser and/or green biogas. Nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorous) are also recovered and used for microalgae cultivation or validated into synthetic fertilizers or sustainable fish feed, which is then reused in the aquaculture fish farm. Additionally, the sludge collection process is environmentally monitored.
