Post on Facebook: "It is hard to believe that there were slum houses such as these and people did live in them in St. John's. Many of these homes were built after the Great Fire of 1892! Taken during the 60's these houses were the last of those that were torn down and stood right next to Walsh's Bakery on Central Street, just over from McFarlane Street."

This blows me away. These buildings existed in the #cityofstjohns #newfoundland in the #1960s.
