Her pre-canon sketch has her looking off camera serenely; her post-canon, which has deep burn scars stretching over her right eye and left jawline, looks back and grins. Notes add: I'm attempting to mash her official art as well as her mini. Post-canon she cuts [her hairstyle] a little but not much. I don't think she'd cover up the burn scars, she's too sky-eyed, she'd be like "I fought the Straka and WON" and correctly believe she looks kickass. Adequate care from the Corrodi and centuries kept preserved gave her scars time to heal, so they're actually very faded by the time she's transported to the present. You can actually see in her official art that she has little braids in her hair (like young Marya) and I think she keeps these. Vast majority of her scars are normotrophic (discoloration only), only the worst are hypertrophic (raised). Her face is hypertrophic.

The next are both of her hands. Three fingers on her left hand and two on her right have been replaced with mechanical digits; the fingertips on her non-mechanical digits have also been replaced. Notes add: Have been trying to consider WHERE she was likely to be burned. Have concluded: Burned the worst on places that were uncovered: fingertips, face, parts of the ears, neck and extension to shoulder via heat transfer, scalp as well but her hair grew back and it's not visible. Jacket/corset protected midsection from worst of damage. I suspect the metal parts she was described to have were actually temporary (equivalent of Zernian life support, respiratory support, etc). As a result my design for her doesn't actually have that many prosthetics. Fingertips and some fingers replaced; parts of the ears as well. Her fingers could actually have been saved but she neglected to care for them while building the portal and got them infected. Burns not on uncovered places are normotrophic, others are hypertrophic. Typical scar for her heart. The mechanical fingers are actually attached to a glove that Ludmila can take on and off (for maintenance or sleeping or etc.) Since her middle finger is all that's left of her left hand, she thinks it's hilarious to take off her left glove and flip people off that way. At one point she bit off her glove the same way Maxwell bites off his in order to do this and he was so touched he nearly cried.
