Would anyone happen to know a good resource for learning to repair jeans, specifically the button? I know it's very likely I'll need to look at getting this done by someone trained in the craft, but I'd like to at least try if I can.

Yes, this shirt probably should have been thrown out. The fabric itself is practically disolving. But it was good practice for both patching and decorative stitching. The patches are tshirt scraps; I strive to throw out as little fabric as possible.

Repaired a Zip Knit Sweater from Maison Margiela this weekend. Replaced a broken zipper and stitched back on the cotton necklabel in the classic Margiela way.

Previously the part with the thread had a frayed opening, so I did my best to reattach it without showing much delayed edges and tuck them on the inner side.

How the white silk shirt looks with the bow in front, easily covering the stitches which were not too noticeable to begin with. It feels nice to repair small flaws or easily fixed damage to your clothes! It saves a lot of money!

Sunday project: first time darning!

Found some *magically* matching thread to my bf's patagonia climbing pants in my thread hoard. Took a few hours but they're good as new now (maybe better)!

Also fixed a frayed pocket seam while at it. Not my straightest line ever 😅
