The Minority Democrats can use #SenateRule22 and obstruct the Republican Minority from passing a bill to eliminate Social Security.

There are 53 US Senate Republicans.

No cabinet positions are open to a #ClotureVote, so it's 50+ 1 votes to pass anything in the Senate.

The @democrats.org have zero power in the Senate right now.

Cabinet/Agency posts are not liable to a #ClotureVote but they are still liable to a #Filibuster and a Filibustering Senator can offer to open the floor to a specific Senator.. which could lead to endless filibusters.

Because Cabinet & Agency nominees only need 50+ "aye" votes, there are no filibusters on them allowed.

Only on SCOTUS & seats on Federal Judiciary is there the chance of a #ClotureVote of 2/3rds (67) "aye" required.

GOP has 53 seats in the US Senate, they need ZERO #Dem votes.
