In addition, Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks will be seen nearby, below the Moon and a little to the right, a little further away than the distance of Jupiter. Binoculars or a telescope will probably be needed to see the comet.

I had a look at Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks, probably for the last time as it becomes less favourably placed for northern hemisphere observers. I could see it plainly through 15X 70mm binoculars, but it was one binocular field width above a very bright red light on a crane.
