A comic featuring Garth. He has pale skin, and short blonde hair styled into a messy quiff. He has a few tattoos which can be seen on his neck, arms and hands. He is wearing a black hoodie and khaki cargos with black boots. 1: Garth is sat at his desk, he's a CCTV operative. He has his headphones on. BZZZ BZZZ, his phone vibrates in his pocket. 2: Garth awkwardly shuffles around to get his phone out of his pocket whilst remaining seated. 3: Garth flips open his flipphone to see what the 'ping' was about, still looking nonplussed. 4: A bring pink starburst and Garth's expression is aghast it seems. 5: A close-up of Garth's phone screen, showing a chat with Simon. Two new messages, one of Simon's POV looking down his body to his hand in his pants, just visible being pushed up by the message below which reads 'Early dinner break? <3'. 6: Garth shoots up from his desk. 'Hey... I'm gonna catch my break early' garth asks. 'A'ight mate.' a reply from his co-worker. 'Sciatica am I ri-' Garth's poor excuse for the sudden departure is cut off. 7: In his urgency, Garth's walked away from his desk with his headphones still on. The headphones have snapped around his neck, the whiplash making him gag humorously. The cable makes a 'twoing!' noise. 'EEURK! - feck', continues Garth.

Simon: Pale skin, tall and bulky man with ear piercings, glasses, and formal attire. Tabbie: Pale skin, short and skinny with buzz cut, tattoos and lots of facial piercings. 1) Garth peers over Simon's shoulder with a dissecting look. 'I'm SO sure I know that person from school', says Garth. Simon looks over his shoulder back at Garth 'What, Tabbie? Let me introduce you both again, then!'. 2) Garth is overcome with the panic of 'SOCIAL INTERACTION' (dun dun duuuun), as Simon goes right ahead with his plan of re-introducing the pair. Garth sinks behind Simon, but is still visible to the viewer, a bright pink 'anxiety halo' explodes around his head with a terrified grimace over his face. 'Morning Tabbie! Usual for me please, and an oat matcha. Oh also Garth knows you from school!'. 3) Tabbie looks up from the coffee machine with a tired smile 'AFTERNOON Si! ... Garth ...? uh.', she questions, picking her memories for a relevant face or info to match that name. 4) Garth sheepishly peers out from behind Simon again with a panicked grin/grimace, he raises his hand in a kind of polite salute. '...hi Remmi', the text is written small and wobbly to indicate a wavering voice. 5) 'GARTH?! HOLY SHIT' Remmi exclaims with a grin that shows her disbelief. (A black band separates the page, text reads 'A few minutes later...') 6) Simon, Garth and Tabbie sit at the window bar of the cafe. Simon is busy on his laptop whilst the other two reconnect and recollect. Garth leans on one elbow whilst nursing his matcha, Tabbie holds her brew with both hands. Garth says 'Love the hair! Or like, lack of it, heh heh'. 'THANKS! uh excuse me, love the BEARD' she replies. 7)A close up of just Garth, he indicates with his thumb at his patchy facial hair, squishing his cheek in the process. He has a playful smile. 'phhft. Or like LACK of it! ha ha!' he replies.

He’s just noticed what Simon’s wearing and is taking a moment to process, his mouth remains a little bit open and he looks flustered, under a thin veil of composure. The heart is in a cyan that contrasts the pink, and matches the colour of the usual speech bubbles. 4: Simon is stood over the crouching Garth with the sunrise illuminating him from behind. He’s wearing form-fitting black leathers of the more sporty/track type. He hoists his backpack over his right shoulder, and has his helmet scooped under the other. He has a friendly, neutral smile. ‘I’ll see you inside, yeah?’ He continues his small-talk with Garth. In return Garth becomes more noticeably wavering and fumbles ‘y-yeah. See you leather…leath…’ 5: ‘later…’ Garth finally corrects himself. He flicks his head abruptly to follow the path of Simon as he continues into the direction of the entrance of the converted church, now security office. You bet he’s checking out how Simon’s butt looks in leather pants. 6: Garth slumps his arms over his squatting legs and looks vacant, processing the wave of emotions. A mix of dumbfoundedness and actual fear cover his face now he no longer has to mask it from an audience. He blushes heavily. Artistic impression of his inner thoughts erupt as hot pink waves swirling around his head with sparks of hearts.

You've bagged yerself a CREATURE here! That's nowt. 'Sides, ya know I can tap out. Huhuhu' Garth replies. 2: Garth catches Simon with a kiss as he flops ontop of him. Still calming down, it surprises him. 3: Garth is laying on top of Simon, as he reclines on the office chair (what's the weight limit for this furniture??) He looks down at Simon with a grin. Simon looks up at him, looking more comfortable. He holds Garth by his back and hip. 'Sooo... feelin' less stressed now?' asks Garth. 'Phhh... work ya know. But, yeah. Whilst you're here, it can all just FUCK OFF... Thanks <3'.

I've not started anything on the official story yet, currently doing the scripts. But I've been practicing on smaller, one-shot comics set in the same world.

Been figuring out a visual language recently, & working with a toonier style.
