Tubac HawkWatch in Arizona had an impressive day on March 15!
Highlights included an incredible 97 Common Black Hawks, a signature species of the Southwest, and always a thrill to see in numbers.

The main draw of the Tubac Hawkwatch in AZ is the very condensed migration of #CommonBlackHawk. Every morning, the hawks that migrated in the night before put on a terrific showing when they lift off as thermals start to form. I saw about 60 on my trip. Raptor lifer #3 ! 😎✌️🦅🌅
