All thre wines went well with the cheeses. All three wines were fresh despite their age, even the Riesling from 1994. Which, btw, was the best match with four of the five cheeses. The best pairing with the chevre from the Loire was - no surprise - the Cabernet Franc from the Chinon (Loire region), see 2/4.
