#BadlandHunters abandoned the highly-disturbing humanity aspect fom #ConcreteUtopia and leaned harder on a more standardized post-apocalypse story. It's a painfully mediocre #kdrama, but still a pretty fun watch if you just turned your brain off and enjoy the action scenes, with over-the-top gore.😅
#ConcreteUtopia is powerful, uncomfortable, and disturbingly human. Lee Byung-hun gave me his rawest performance yet. Park Seo-joon keeps surprising me with his different #kdrama roles, Park Bo young once again reminded why she's an S-class actor, and of course Kim Sun-young capped this powerhouse.
Wow...just wow.
#ConcreteUtopia deserves every accolades it earned. Post disaster survivor story usually has the same theme of survivors trying to find a place to belong. This #kdrama flipped the narrative by showing how far a group of ordinary people will go to protect their place.
Damn, Park Bo-young, imagine playing an earthquake survivor covered in dust and soot, with minimal make-up and still look super damn cute. 🥰
