Altered book journal. I had written a loving journal entry over a page I had already altered. I never posted it. Last night I got angry and distorted the old entry and wrote some not-so-loving words instead. Anger is probably my favorite stage of grief because it's a really simple and uncomplicated emotion for me, and not one I am used to anymore. My anger is a recognition that I have been treated unjustly, and giving myself a lot of space for this rage is a kind and loving thing to do for myself. I'm all I have, and so I have to be able to live with myself.
