That sets the stage for a sometimes silly, sometimes steamy, and sometimes deep story that I really enjoy. -- Book quote "So let me get things straight." I take a step closer to her. "You want to get laid and think I'm the right candidate because my frown makes you think I'm not the kind to get attached." -- Logan King I love the little bets the team members make throughout the season. They are funny, in good fun, and make for great team building. It also paves the way for at least two additional books. 😉 The family drama does ground the mood on a couple of occasions, but I ultimately like how they are left. It isn't anything dark, just... family dysfunction. I borrowed the audio book. I really like the narrators, Connor Brown and Vanessa Vasquez.
