A serene waterfall cascading over rocky ledges into a calm pool surrounded by snow-dusted trees and mossy cliffs.
Cotter Force is a pretty multi‑step waterfall on Cotterdale Beck consisting of six stepped drops, with a total height of around 10 metres. The waterfall can be reached by a short accessible path from a lay-by on the A684, about 2 miles west of Hawes.
